Dec. 26, 2017—Acura is expected to soon launch an SUV that’s design elements represent an evolution for the brand, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The new RDX will be unveiled on Jan. 15, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The new SUV model, expected to go on sale in 2018, was designed and developed in the U.S.

The RDX’s interior will build on the features in Acura’s Precision Cockpit model, which was introduced in 2016.

The Precision Cockpit featured elements similar to Acura’s NSX vehicle, with a large screen mounted atop the dashboard, with features controlled by a touchpad in the center console.

Prices for the 2018 RDX will start at $35,800, according to the Free Press.
