Jan. 11, 2018—At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week, HERE Technologies launched HERE Mobility, a new open mobility marketplace intended to connect supply and demand for on-demand transportation and mobility services.

Meanwhile, the company’s Mobility Dispatch system will aim to provide a real-time fleet utilization and optimization solution, by using a web controller and driver application that connects fleet managers with their drivers.

HERE Mobility was designed to simplify the process of mobility by offering several services via one portal. The software aims to offer mobility vendors an opportunity to reach new customers, while offering consumers increased options and accessibility.

The HERE Open Mobility Marketplace functions as a unifying abstraction layer, providing a single point of contact for all mobility service types to connect.

In conjunction with this week’s launch at the CES event in Las Vegas, HERE Mobility also expects to soon release a beta version of The Mobility SDK software, to enable demand partners to develop applications.
