MB_PDC and LPC Renovations

Oct. 17, 2017—Mercedes-Benz USA opened its new and newly renovated parts distribution (PDC) and learning and performance centers (LPC) in Grapevine, Texas; Robbinsville, N.J.; and Carol Stream, Ill.

The upgrades will allow Mercedes-Benz dealers to receive the parts they need faster and better service customers.

The new and newly expanded PDC facilities will increase supply chain efficiency to the brand’s dealer network by providing additional capacity for growth expectations.

The new LPC facility will centralize business operations into one campus complex, which increases synergies and efficiency.

Re-opened last month, the Carol Stream PDC will service 100 MBUSA dealers in the Midwest region.

Improvements include an additional 83,000-square-feet to the building, providing new storage capacity.

The Grapevine facility offers a PDC with double the storage capacity of its predecessor and the LPC offers dealer technicians education and training on new products and services, specializing in aluminum welding techniques.

Both facilities service 47 MBUSA dealers in the Southern Region. The Robbinsville PDC recently added 153,000-square-feet providing more storage capacity which will service 107 MBUSA dealers in the Northeast region.
