Toyota Reveals Fleet of Six EVs Launching

June 14, 2019—Toyota plans to accelerate its roadmap for EVs by 2025, reported DesignBoom.

The automaker revealed a new range of six electric cars that it plans to launch over the next five years.

Toyota said the platform beneath the vehicles will be an architecture called "e-TNGA."

The automaker's executive vice president said in the report that the company alo wants to have at least 10 models available globally from 2020, including compact cars, medium-sized crossovers and sedans, and various sizes of SUV and minivans.
