November 8, 2018—This month, McCafferty Ford, Kia and Hyundai became Fred Beans Ford, Kia and Hyundai of Langhorne. The Fred Beans Family of Dealerships has owned the McCafferty Auto Group of Langhorne since 2014 and had partial ownership since 1999, reported Bucks Local News.

The decision to change the name signifies the merging of two storied names with longstanding traditions among car dealerships of the Greater Philadelphia area and coincides with the grand opening of a new Kia showroom in Langhorne.

“We often contemplated changing the name since we acquired the McCafferty Dealerships,” said Fred Beans, founder and president of the family of dealerships that bear his name. “We wanted the timing to be right to move forward with this change, knowing that the McCafferty name is widely-recognized and well-regarded. With the opening of the new Kia Dealership, the timing felt right. Often in business, you have to trust your gut.”

Under the Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, McCafferty customers now have about 5,000 total new and used vehicles spanning 18 brands to peruse online and select from when visiting one of 20 Fred Beans dealerships in person, according to the report.

Additionally, all McCafferty customers’ AutoRewards points will be transferred to new Fred Beans AutoRewards cards, which customers use for earning cash toward their next purchase and for discounts at participating local businesses.
