June 26, 2018—The Zeigler Automotive Group of Kalamazoo, Mich., recently acquired the McCarthy Ford franchise located in North Riverside, Ill.

The McCarthy Ford location is owned by Ray and John LeFevour, whom acquired the store in Feb. 2017. Previously, the Illinois dealership was known as Joe Rizza Ford for nearly 40 years. Zeigler Automotive plans to rebrand the dealership as Zeigler Ford of Riverside and reopen it this week, with its management team. The company plans to hire all McCarthy Ford employees and bring in a new general manager.

According to a report by mibiz.com, this marks Zeigler Automotive’s fourth Ford store and its 26th dealership acquisition. In 2017, the Zeigler group generated $1.08 billion in revenue.
