BMW to Debut iX3 EV at Auto China Show

While BMW teased the release of the all-electric iX3 in March, the public will get a closer look in Beijing through May 4. This mark’s the German automaker’s first all-electric vehicle since the i3 was produced beginning in 2013.

The OEM recently released a teaser trailer for the iX3 on Twitter.

The iX3 is expected to be an all-electric version of BMW’s X3 mini SUV. BMW is working with Audi, Daimler, Volkswagen, Ford and others to create a European-wide charging network to support such vehicles, called Ionity, noted.
