Feb. 22, 2018—Lexus is set to unveil a new “baby” crossover, the UX, next month at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show.

The vehicle was initially teased as a concept back in 2016. When officially launched, the UX will become the fifth member of Lexus’ growing line of luxury utility vehicles.

Utility vehicles have been a focal point of multiple auto shows across the globe early this year, as factors like lower gas prices and growing millennial families have inspired several OEMs to produce more of those vehicle models.

Lexus’ UX is expected to have a distinct tail light design that runs the entire width of the vehicle’s rear, and have rear quarter panels that have been smoothed out for production purposes. Overall, the crossover will feature Lexus’ “L-Finesse” design philosophy, according to a report by autoindustriya.com.

The Geneva International Motor Show is scheduled for March 8-18 in Switzerland.
